What is the World of Fanfiction Forum about?
The forum is dedicated to all writers who'd like to share their fanfiction and original works.

I love this forum, is there any way I can help or contribute to the forum?
Definitely! Some ways are as follows:
- You can make new threads in the right board to share fanfiction or your original work.
- Replying to people's posts is the most common since sometimes, we never know what to talk about.
- Become a Moderator. The Admin & Co-Admin are not always available which is why we have the Moderators.
- Give suggestions/comments/ideas of what may need work to the forum.

If I have some private comments regarding the forum, which person should I PM [private message] or email to?
The person you would PM/e-mail to would be the Administrator or Co-Administrator. If the Administrator is not available, then the Moderators act as Administrators in his or her absence.

I want to write about my favorite actor, music artist, etc. Where can I post my fanfiction?
Go under Writers' Creative Minds. The category is setup fo all topics - Music, Movies/TV Shows/Asian Dramas, Actors & Actresses, Anime & Manga, Video Games & Sentai, Books, Historical & Philosophical and Crossovers.

I don't have anything that fits in any of those categories. It's an original work. Where does it go?
Go under Original Works. You can see Poems, Songs/Lyrics/Parodies, and Stories. Make sure to put it in the right spot.

Do I need to register as a member to browse the forum? Why?
Before you register, I suggest to read the Rules board. It's open to the public. All the fanfiction is opened to guests to view & read but in order to look further inside the forum or comment, you will need to become a member. Comments should be made by members, not anonymous sources because some people left negative feedback in other sites and couldn't figure out who it was. It's a tracking system to the Admin, Co-Admin & Moderators.

What is lurker? Can I be a lurker?
A lurker is when a person enters a group/forum to look around without responding or being active. There are some boards you many not be able to access since they're hidden from the public.

I don't read English very well, can I reply in other languages?
It depends. If you talk in another language on a certain thread, I would suggest to write it out in the your language and then somewhat translate it for us so we have an idea on what you said. Another idea is to ask the Moderator of the board or Admin if it's possible to open up a thread just for that language. Once you get any of their approvals, then make the new thread in the language you know.

What is double-posting? Why it is bad for the forum?
Sometimes, people post a reply and realize they write something wrong, then they click reply again. It will only increase the load of the server. It would be best to use EDIT function of the reply you just post and make corrections.

What is the Writer's Chat? I love it, can I just keep talking there with other members?
Writer's Chat is a small chatbox where members can have a conversation with all the members of the forum. You can keep talking there, but a suggestion would be PMing each other if it's just one other person.

Sometimes, when I try to post a reply or open a thread, it takes very long time to load. Is there any problem?
It depends. Here are some ideas:
- Your internet connection is slow
- The forum is overflooded with posts and members at the same time
- The server itself cannot handle the forum.
- Your internet browser doesn't support the forum at all.

I see some members posting Japanese or Chinese or other languages' texts in replies. All I can see is empty space or weird symbols. Is there something wrong with my computer? What should I do in order to read those characters?
Your computer may not handle the Japanese/Chinese characters people used to reply. In order to read the characters, check with the tech support on your computer to see if you need to enable a feature or install a program.

I'd like make the World of Fanfiction forum as an affiliation to another forum/website. How can I do that?
PM the Administrator or Co-Administrator for each of the forums/websites. Then, if you get the approvals, make sure you exchange the graphic button and URL to each Admin so he or she can add it to their forum.

I can't access my account. What happened?
Some things may have occurred:
- Had two accounts --> Administrator probably deleted the old or non-active account.
- Don't know your password --> Click forget password and put the e-mail your username is under. Then, you should get an e-mail about a new password or changing it.

Kytana's Remarks: Most questions & answers are from the Love So Sweet Forum. I'm the Admin there. So, to members of LSS, this may look too similar. If the members have any more questions that should be added, please PM me.
